Sunday Shenanigans ft. Favourite products

Hey Lovelies,

Its 2020 and people have started acknowledging the importance of mental health and self-care. I decided to Join the bandwagon and spend time with myself once in a while. I love to disconnect myself from social media and soak in some goodness at least once a week. I am following a new regimen where in I am using products that are great for skincare and haircare an at the same time they are rejuvenating and healing. this is my version of self-indulgence and first step towards a better ME.

I am using "Pantene oil replacement" as an alternative to oiling my hair specially during the weekend because its creamy texture gives my hair the much needed hydration. it smells great and feels lightweight. I apply it on my roots and throughout my hair strands and leave it on for 30-40 mins before shampooing my hair. while the hair cream is on I move on to some skincare. I start by exfoliating my skin and for that I use the Moha herbal scrub. my skin is acne prone and hence I refrain from using hard exfoliators that could disturb the pH of my skin and result in acne. this scrub is best for mild exfoliation and has no parabens in it. after a gentle round of exfoliation I rinse off my face and then its time for a chemical peel.

I got introduced to chemical peels recently, it is a subject I am yet to explore fully but what I have understood is that these peels are chemical designed to target a serious concern and using them as directions definitely gives results and faster than usual products. my favourite brand for such product is Dr. Sheths. I use their gentle brightening peel to further exfoliate the skin and brighten my face. the usage of this product is very specific. it has to be applied in a thick layer all over the face and after 5 mins should be washed away. it gives a stinging sensation on the skin but that is very common with chemical peels. first time users are advised to do a patch test on a small area of the skin and then proceed with regular usage of the product. after the chemical peel I move on a sheet mask.

The sheet mask by Dr. sheths is slightly more expensive than other sheet masks on market but that is because they are infused with chemicals and peptides to penetrate the skin and give results instantly. the material on the sheet mask in unlike any other sheet mask and the liquid content itself in the mask is very creamy and has a mousse like consistency. I leave the mask on for 20 mins as instructed on the back of the pack and the move on to a nail cream.

I use the nail cream by Moha once again. this Ayurvedic brand really has some great products and I highly recommend trying them. their foot cream is also my favourite but that is something I use occasionally. I also love their rose water, it smells great and has a very refreshing feel. I like to carry it in my purse for a quick pick-me-up for my skin. I massage the hand cream around my cuticles to soften them, hydrate them and to create a protective layer on my nails.

while the weekend in drifting away and Monday is ready to ascent upon us, and we are all ready to enter into a weak like a Pandemonium, a little untangling of mind and soul comes in form of tranquility with some ME time.

Until next time.
